Promoting athletic activity and wellness among the youth and families
of Newport County
The FHP Memorial Fund was
established in partnership with Newport
Hospital to accomplish the following charitable purposes:
- Promote health and wellness among youth and families of Newport
County;
- Combat child
and adolescent obesity through the encouragement of participation in
athletic activities (including both indoor and outdoor and competitive
athletics);
- Combat the abuse of alcohol and drugs; and
- Promote the emotional and psychological well being of Newport
County youth and their families.
